How to play

A country is named. Find its flag among five, six or seven. On Apple Watch, turn the Digital Crown to look through the flags and tap the one you want. On a watch with Double Tap, a double tap picks the flag in the middle. On iPhone, swipe or tap the arrows, then tap This one. Prologue, on the Home screen, shows you how.

The trial and the purchase

Start the free 14-day trial in the app, through the App Store. When it ends, a single purchase keeps Hoisted open for good. There is no subscription, and your record stays either way. On another device, or after reinstalling, choose Restore Purchases in Settings, with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Apple handles billing and refunds.

Your watch and your iPhone

Hoisted keeps one record on your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone, so rounds played on one show on the other. The watch app also plays on its own. On an iPad, Hoisted runs as the iPhone app and keeps a record of its own.

The daily reminder

Turn on Daily reminder in Settings, then allow notifications when asked. It comes at 9 each morning, unless today’s three rounds are done. One switch serves both devices.

Something went wrong

Please keep Hoisted installed while we help, since deleting it removes the record on that device. On iPhone, Settings, Diagnostics can prepare Apple’s recent crash and hang reports for you to send us with your email.
